Delete Your Account and Data

1. Overview

You can delete your RefactorCV account and permanently erase all the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and how long it takes. Deletion is free and does not require contacting support.

2. How to Request Deletion

Sign in to RefactorCV, open Settings, and choose Delete Account. We send a confirmation link to your registered email address; the link is valid for 24 hours. Once you confirm, your account is deactivated and your data is removed from the app right away.

3. What Gets Deleted and When

Confirming deactivates your account and removes your data from the app right away. All remaining records are then permanently and irreversibly erased within 30 days, including:

• Your profile and account details
• All resumes and generated PDF and DOCX documents, including the copies in file storage
• Your tailoring history, usage records, feedback, and activity logs
• Linked sign-in identities and your identity-provider account
• Any billing reference held for your account

4. If You Cannot Sign In

If you cannot access your account, email us at privacy@refactorcv.com from your registered address and we will process your deletion request. You can also export a copy of your data first from Settings before deleting.
